The motion detector with an integrated glass break (GB) detector provides two independent functions in one device. The standard PIR detector reacts to movement by evaluating changes in the temperature image of the room. The built-in GB detector reacts to pressure changes and high acoustic frequencies typical of glass breakage. Thus, the product performs the function of two different detectors with one installation. The product is compatible only with control panels JA-102K, JA-103K, JA-107K, or newer.
It is the successor to the original JA-120PB detector. The mechanical design is unified with the standard motion detectors of the JABLOTRON 100+ series. The detector function is identical to the design version JA-122PB and allows full configuration even without physical access to the peripheral.
Glass break detection is especially suitable for glass panes accessible from public areas and large glass surfaces that can be penetrated without opening the window frame. When learned into the system, the detector occupies the positions of two peripherals, each configurable separately. The glass pane should be at least 60 × 60 cm in size and must be within 9 m of the detector. The sensitivity of the GB detection can be adjusted directly using the F-Link software.
